White But Not White
Down the isle in white
was not one but two in one
in white, but not white
at the moment of “I do”
the white tail turned red,
and unto all was shared
the miracle of bringing a life on earth
hence forth arose
one who like the time
was white but not white
Born in a church
he became of the church.(A priest)
white until he had all the sorrow,
the sorrow of parting,
of his mother,
of his father,
of his wife,
Hence with it white turned black.
With his arm
he slayed all
all more blessed than he
until his destiny of death
came to pass.
